New Delhi: With the Winter Session of Parliament set to begin on Monday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said that the Centre aims to pass many essential reform bills including Insurance Bill, Coal Ordinance and Constitutional Amendment Bill.
He said that the government is committed to get these bills passed in this Session, adding that the support of opposition parties and state governments will be essential for the implementation of reforms.
Meanwhile, principal opposition Congress is yet to decide on the issues to be taken up in Parliament. Mallikarjuna Kharge, Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha said that the party would decide on it in a core committee meet. "Will decide what issue needs more importance in our core committee meet. We are the second largest group in the Lok Sabha, we were to be given the LoP seat anyway, this is not a favor on us," Kharge said.
