Bhubaneshwar:Central Buraeu of Investigation (CBI) on Friday issued summons to Rajya Sabha member and former Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Pyarimohan Mohapatra over Saradha chit fund scam.

Mohapatra was questioned by CBI in Bhubaneswar. His house was also raided on Tuesday by CBI.

The raid was held to probe the alleged involvement of 'Seashore Group' in the scam. Mohapatra, a former BJD leader was advisor to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik when the scam took place.
